Please meet our first ever 23u team. These players have all competed for years against each other, but by becoming the area’s only 23u team, they can’t wait to enjoy some summer weekends together in 2027. Many of these players are off with their college teams, and we can’t wait to see them on the field. They have the heart, drive, and determination to not let this game pass them by too soon.

We would also like to introduce our first ever player/coach in McKenzie Baer as she is coming on board as the program’s first ever pitching coach after completing her college career at DII West Liberty college. McKenzie will be very busy with LK Lightning as not only working with all 7 teams pitchers, but she will be managing a team of her own, while also strapping on her cleats for one final summer. She will be leading by example, literally!
